Jordon Hurd is a professional firearms instructor with a commitment to teaching people to be safe and responsible gun owners. His work centers on building weapon manipulation skills and defensive accuracy standards, promoting safety and encouraging self discipline.

His interest in teaching firearms safety and skills began through mentorship from a great friend and getting involved in the shooting sports, where he learned the importance of training, safety discipline, responsibility and respect. Those early experiences continue to shape the way he approaches the teaching and training profession.

Today, Jordon is both an NRA and USCCA certified instructor, specializing in technical training, manipulation of different weapons systems and teaching students to be in charge of their own safety in their day to day life. Known for his teaching style of remaining calm under pressure, being encouraging yet demanding of his students and helping them to become precise and disciplined. He works with students of all ages and skill levels to help them achieve the skills necessary to safely protect themselves and their families.

He believes that knowledge paired with practice and discipline creates confidence and training prepares people for the unexpected. His instruction emphasizes hands-on approach, mental toughness, and teaches responsibility. Jordon is designed to help his students become the best version of themselves possible.

Beyond his role as a firearms instructor, Jordon continues to advance his own skills through ongoing training (always being a student), gaining new certifications and competitive shooting. His dedication to growth reflects his belief that we are our own first responders and that we, as American citizens, need to be able to defend our loved ones.
